The value for money at this hotel was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and had a stunning view of the lake and mountains. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, and the staff treated us with warmth and a genuine desire to make our stay special.
The hotel breakfast could be improved by replacing the toaster. The bread took too long to toast, resulting in the food getting cold before it was fully toasted.

We recently stayed at Lodge On the Lake And Wellness Spa and had an incredible experience. the location of the lodge is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view of the lake from the entrance and the fantastic infinity pool. the staff at the lodge were the best we've encountered, from the warm welcome to their helpful and accommodating nature. the Honeymoon Suite we stayed in was spacious and luxurious, with an amazing balcony overlooking the beautiful surroundings. the breakfasts prepared by the talented chef were delicious and satisfying. the spa treatments offered were top-notch, providing us with a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. We felt right at home thanks to the exceptional hospitality of Smiley, Belinda, Patricia, and Vicki. This was truly one of the best stays we've ever had on the Garden Route. Cons: Couldn't find any faults at all. 👌.

The private luxury suite at Lodge On The Lake And Wellness Spa was absolutely amazing. The room was beautifully decorated and made me feel like I was in my own little slice of paradise. The views from the suite were simply spectacular, giving me a sense of tranquility and peace. As a guest with disabilities, I appreciated the ample space in the room, making it easy for me to move around and feel comfortable. The private bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower was a nice touch, and the complimentary toiletries and hair dryer were a bonus.
Personally, I found the minibar in the room to be a bit pricey. However, I understand that this is just my subjective opinion and other guests might still enjoy having this amenity available to them.

Our family had an incredible time at Lodge On The Lake And Wellness Spa in Wilderness. The location was perfect, with easy access to Sedge Links Golf Course, where we enjoyed a fun-filled day of golfing as a family. The natural beauty of the region was truly breathtaking, and we loved exploring the nearby national park and taking part in adventure sports activities. The small guest hotel provided a comfortable and well-laid-out space for our large family, ensuring that everyone had enough room to relax and enjoy their stay. our time at Lodge On The Lake And Wellness Spa was filled with excitement, adventure, and quality family bonding.
For dads, it would be great if the hotel could offer more organized activities specifically designed for children.

We had a lovely romantic escape at this hotel. the breathtaking view of the lake from our room was a highlight, and we spent many relaxing moments just gazing out at the serene surroundings. the location was also fantastic, with easy access to both the beach and adventure activities. We were able to enjoy the best of both worlds, whether we wanted a laid-back day by the water or an exciting outdoor adventure.
There were a few drawbacks to our experience. there were some maintenance issues that could have been addressed, such as worn-out outdoor furniture and fittings, as well as the need for pool deck resurfacing and sealing.

Gaze out over the "majesty" of the rim flow plunge pool that blends with the lake. A place for every kind of traveller looking to escape to "paradise". A haven of "peace and tranquillity".
Who needs bar soap and shampoo in the room? So unnecessary for a "special occasion or just a weekend getaway".

Gazed out over the rim flow pool that blended seamlessly with the lake beyond. Loved the individually decorated rooms. Such a peaceful and tranquil haven.
Oh, how I missed the complimentary water in the rooms. The thirst was real.
